J. Michael Vervoort discovered his passion for the law early in life, assisting at his uncle’s law firm during high school and college. These formative experiences instilled in him a deep appreciation for advocating vigorously for clients and going above and beyond to achieve justice. Michael honed his legal acumen at Ohio Northern University’s Claude W. Pettit College of Law, where he excelled as Managing Editor of the Ohio Northern University Law Review and served as a research assistant, solidifying his commitment to meticulous legal scholarship.

Beyond his board involvement, Michael volunteers extensively with organizations such as the Second Harvest Food Bank of Clark, Champaign & Logan Counties, The Gathering of Miami Valley, Junior Achievement of Mad River Region, United Way of Clark, Champaign, & Madison Counties, On The Rise, United Senior Services, Springfield Foundation, and The Nehemiah Foundation. His passion for empowering the next generation is evident in his commitment to coaching youth football for the Kenton Ridge Cougars, where he helps instill teamwork and discipline in young athletes.
